RTA logo Pace I-90 Service Expansion Phase I

Project Description

This project is an expansion of Routes 600 Northwest Express and 610 Prairie Stone Express. With this proposal Route 600 will be bi-directional during peak period weekdays to serve reverse riders going to work and school. Route 610 will also add reverse peak trips on weekdays between Rosemont and a new park-n-ride facility planned for the Prairie Stone Complex in Hoffman Estates.

Current Activities:Bus routes 600 and 610 began providing bi-directional service on August 19, 2013. In addition, a new commuter Park-n-Ride is available at the Prairie Stone complex helping to serve reverse commuters utilizing Route 610. Route 600 provided 8,869 trips and Route 610 provided 12,118 trips in September 2014.
