RTA logo Cicero CTA Bus Stop Improvements

Study Description

This project includes installation of ten bus shelters at key, high ridership bus stops, served by CTA Routes 54, 21, 60, 12 and 35, and Pace Route 305. Shelter locations are also nearby the CTA Pink Line and the Cicero station on Metra's BNSF line. The shelters will include a fabricated bench and small trash receptacle, as well as lighting.

Current Activities:Changes have been made to the number of shelters being constructed and their locations in the Phase II process. The town is working to ensure adequate space exists for the shelters and is hoping for construction to begin in the fall of 2019.
