RTA logo 95th Street Terminal Improvements


This project will expand and greatly improve the 95th/Dan Ryan Red Line station as well as its bus terminal with a new stationhouse comprising north and south bus terminal facilities for the 14 CTA and 5 Pace bus routes that serve the station, in addition to improved pedestrian access.

Current Activities:The main terminal design-build contract has continued design, preconstruction and construction activities. For design, the north bus bridge package underwent a quality review and is waiting on one permit to be complete, the pedestrian bridge package was submitted and value engineering items are being vetted. Bidding and award of construction work orders is on-going. For the south terminal, punch list work was performed while being in operation. For the north terminal, demolition activities and bus canopies are complete, north structure construction is ongoing. The pedestrian bridge work is ongoing. The buses are now running through the north terminal.
